Robert Mottu

My name is Robert Mottu, the owner of ABRC Construction & Remodeling, LLC. I was born 50 + years ago to Henry & Anna Mottu and raised in Clute, Texas. I am the father to 4 wonderful children: Ashley, Breanna, Raven & Cheyenne and have 7 grandchildren.

As a young man, I worked alongside my uncles, dad and grandfather acquiring concrete,  plumbing and electrical experience. After high school, I briefly worked in chemical plants and then began a career in commercial construction. For 8 years I traveled the Gulf Coast running construction crews.

Although being on the road and gaining the experience was a great adventure and good money, I realized it kept me from what's most important - my family. I finally settled back down in Brazoria County and focused on my specialty which is door installation, trim & custom closet packages. I was working for a local construction & remodeling company when I met Laurie. She & I worked many hours together helping dozens of Brazoria County customers during the 2017 floods. After realizing how well we worked together, we decided to become partners for life. She and I share the same values of family & integrity. She definitely is the brains and beauty behind this operation while I am the brawn.
